Dab it with diluted vinegar. It's a great healer, removes pain and is anti sceptic.

The best thing for that would be some aloe. Oh I'm sorry, I just read you have already used this.I really dont think you will find anything that will take the pain away. I had a burn once and I used noxema. That just made it feel cool but the pain would come back.I guess father time is the only thing gong to tsake this pain aWAY. Hang in there.

Somebody recommended Seabreeze earlier and I'm telling you right now that it could make it worse. Seabreeze has alcohol in it and alcohol could dry it out, make it feel worse, or even damage the tissue more. Even alcohol-free Seabreeze wouldn't be good, as it would still have a drying-out effect.
See a doctor if it continues to be a problem or gets worse. Also go to the doctor if you develop blisters or the burn starts to ooze. The aloe gel is probably helping with the healing, even if it doesn't help with pain. There are also burn lotions that contain topical pain killers in them (Solarcaine).
Live and learn. We all make that same mistake at least once.

Get a jar of lavender essential oil and have somebody rub it onto your back, you will not need much! The real stuff from an aromatherapy shop, not just something that smells like lavender. You will be cured in a day or two. Guaranteed.
Get well soon.

Go see your doc, he might prescribe some light sedative. You really need to get some sleep or you will be really poorly. Leave all your windows open and sleep on top of the sheets. Stay off caffeine too. Have you tried camomile lotion, its a cooler..... talking of coolers...babies have cooling powders when they're running a temp. Maybe there's an adult version.

Factor 30 is not strong enough if your out in the sun for long periods..Im afraid you've done the damage and you will just have to bear the pain till you start to heal..

Sea Breeze facial astringent works too. Either soak rags and lay them on you or put it in a spray bottle and have someone spray you. It's the green one by the way. There is also a spray called solarcaine in the first aid section that will numb it.

Someone once mentioned plain old Barbasol (non-menthol) shaving cream.
Spread a thick layer and just let it soak in / dissolve.
Good luck.....
P.S. Change sunscreens!! Seriously - I have very fair skin and some with spf 45 don't work properly!!!!

You should go see a doctor, Sounds like the burn is pretty bad, they will be able to give you some stronger pain killers and they will give you a prescription creme to put on it.
