Why do the war mongoring supporters of Bush's illegal war continue to say, "protect the troops" "keep them safe" "give them what they need"?

For 6 years of Bush and a republican congres there was NOT enough body armor! not enough modified Hum Vs! not enough special thins they need to fight and be protected!

Are your memories short are are you just ignorant? or blind of both?

Show you care and save your brother before tragedy hits your family. It is so sad, and I love all the troops. I just want them to live and not get killed.

Stupid is more like it. They only care about the troops when they need a back drop for a political speech. T he Republicans backed this war not because of any beliefs in freedom or justice. This war is being fought because a Republican is in the White house and he wanted it. The Congress gave him whatever he asked for and the Democrats were afraid of looking soft on terror- they capitulated. Sorry bunch in Washington.

I expect nothing from Bush haters. It's funny you talk without brains and common sense. I guess Ronald Reagan is a war monger too? Whatever you say, you are not a historian, nobody takes you seriously. Even Congress is smarter than you. We all support our troops, its our civic duty as citizens.

Your memory must be short and you are ignorant, did you forget 9/11/01? You must be blind, not us. Twin Towers (world trade center is destroyed), how can you forget that tragedy, shame on you. Even if you were President, you would give our military men what they need, stop criticizing people who are voted and are more popular than you.
You have no guts and no glory, go to France if you don't like America.

Incompetence, plain and simple.

When you expect to be greeted as liberators and have flowers thrown at you then you have no plan. There have been very few real leaders emerge from this occupation. With a rubber stamp congress for the first 6 years of the bush jr regime many things were done with no discussion, debate or oversight.

Our brave soldiers and veterans deserve better, but this rogue regime is more concerned with Haliburton than with our troops.

Please don't lay the ignorant crap on me, my memory is
fairly good. I rmember (personally) the Korean conflict,
the Viet Nam fiasco (directed by at least 4 different
Presidents), Granada--- to mention a few scraps. I also
remember the USS Pueblo, an EC121 shot down over
korea, the USS Liberty shot up in the Med -- and other world
situations that have occured (trade center attacked twice)
etc. Is it war mongering to expect my nation to protect and
defend its sovereignty and support our loyal armed forces ?
This is not an illegal war.... I'm not blind either, I can recognize
lack of patriotism, and/or lack of knowledge of History when I see it.

This kind of crap is why you don't see yellow ribbons and flags. I'm so sick of people complaining about the war and "pretending to do it because they support the troops"

I am not ignorant or blind....my brother is over there defending your right to put this garbage out here!!!!!!!!!

Go get some yellow ribbons and a flag....

PS - I would never use my brother's name to protest the war like some people... he chose that life, after the war in Iraq started, and while I don't want him to die...he would die doing what he believes is right and that would be enough for me.

Hey ex_righty, of course they wil support the troops and Bush until their loved one gets hurt or killed.

I agree, save them while they are alive and well. It would be tragic for their loved ones to get hurt or worse. And then it will be too late.

I totally agree. Keep your loved ones safe and alive. Once they are gone they are gone. Then you would wish you didn't support the war. It happens every time to parents and sisters, brothers ectc. they suport the war until their's gets killed. so sad.

Good point, when GWB first declared war, every where you looked were yellow ribbons and flags. Where are they now? Heck, when both of my son's were over seas, I had my car looking like a memorial with yellow ribbons and flags. Didn't get much respect tho. I still got a lot of road rage as well. Go figure. Now, you very seldom see a yellow ribbon or a flag on cars. Where did they all go? That's support our troops for ya.

Just love those thumbs down!

Got any viable suggestions, Sherlock? Unlikely...
If so, you better get someone else to write it for you, as your ramblings look like a bunch of incoherent crap.
Also, not all Republicans are war mongers. Some simply prefer lower taxes, less government oversight, and forcing people to be reponsible for their own future, instead of relying on the government to wipe their butts for them.

Stop picking on Bush and his administration. There is a better way than you venting out like this - showing your arrogance doesn't help. Read the bible!!!
