I work with people and my favorite one when dealing with an angry, crabby, even mean person (someone really having a bad day) is to smile and use a few words of kindness (maybe a compliment), compassion or a little extra assistance and attention. You'd be surprised how this can change someone's attitudes, forget their troubles for a brief moment and actually smile back. It does work all the time but it does more often than not. At least I tried. I don't let someone else's bad attitude bring me down but I can always try to bring them up.

A good deed is not only something that helps another person but something you do that makes you feel good and special inside.
Just be yourself and the goodness will always be beaming from your soul.

Start by finding new and better ways to appreciate what’s in your life, and more things to appreciate in your life.
Next start finding newer ways to do the same old things more joyously and find new joyous things to do in life. As a result, you'd be more joyous at the end of the day, and when you are so, you'd naturally be a source a inspiration for other people to be equally joyous as you are. There is nothing more contagious in life as laughter and a pure sense of inner joy.
Finding new way of being is better than finding new ways of living, Simply put it is crucial for us to find better ways of being joyous, at all times, and through every thing we do and be.
The lesser reasons we need to be joyous, the better our life gets, soon it becomes only a matter of our being who we are, naturally.
