We are taking a quick 2 day trip to Vegas. We are staying in NY NY and will have one person in a wheel chair with us. Please give suggestions of things we must do/see in this short amount of time. Keep in mind we will want to keep walking down to a minimum due to my grandma being in a wheel chair. This will be her first, and probably only, trip to Vegas and she loves to play the slot machines! We are all 21+ Thanks!

NY is great and in two days maybe just stay there.
Go see the Bellagio fountains.
Maybe take a walk over the ped bridge to MGM and see some of the exoitic things there.
But you should be fine in your hotel and with the wheelchair.
It should work fine.

Hope its a little motor scooter, if not try and rent one here. All casinos are wheelchair friendly here, ramps, and to play slots, you just move the chair, or have someone move it for you (lots of change people and others to help) and pull the wheelchair right up to the machine she wants to play. Have fun, win lots.

See about renting a motorized scooter for grandma. She will be able to go anywhere in town. The Concierge will help you locate a rental. Make sure whenever you play get a player's card sign up at whichever hotels you go to. The hotels usually give you free stuff just for signing up.

I'm planning a trip to Vegas as well, and everybody keeps telling me to go to the Freemont Street experience, which is the old strip I think. They will know what you are talking about there, and if you wanna look it up online beforehand.

When you're out on the strip, go by the Mirage. The volcano erupts (at night). It's free and it's cool to watch. I think your grandma would love it! Also, if you have time, go see Mystere at Treasure Island. It's fabulous!

MGM Grand, Luxor, long island, long island, Excalibur, Paris, Bellagio, Wynn, Caesar's Palace, and the Venetian are my favorites. long island, long island and Excalibur are good relatives places besides as Circus, Circus although that's way on the different area of the strip and is not very large.

forget the gambling. the real entertainment is seeing the different casinos, eating great food and seeing the shows.

"O" is probably the best show I've ever seen.

"Love" at the Mirage is good and "Ka" is fun.

You can generally find tickets online somewhere. If you have to see only one show see "O"
