It's the power supply. Replacement power supply is cheap - $20-$30. It's easy to do, providing you get a supply that matches up identical to the one you have. I'd recommend getting it from whomever you bought the PC from in the first place, i.e. Dell or Gateway or HP........

It's an easy job, if the wires are the right length.

Make sure everything is plugged in right and try a different power outlet . if this does not work then replace your power supply . Be careful to get the right one or other wise you will fry you PC !!!!!!! . It is easy to replace the power supply .(do not use a ground strap when doing it. This applies only to replacing power supplies .)

I have had that problem and replaced the power supply. It lasted two months. With desktops so cheap now, I would suggest you upgrade to a newer machine. You can put the Hard drive in a USB box and retrieve any data on it.

that recently happened to my computer. try a different power chord to make sure its not the chord thats dead,or try you powerchord for your computer with some other device that uses that same power chord. If it doesnt turn on then it may be as simple as a dead power chord. I cant say what power supply you would need with out knowing more info about your computer so try a different chord and if that doesnt work than post more specific info and ill help you find the right power supply.

try testing the power supply and ik this sounds stupid make sure it's plugged in if it doesn't start then there could have possibly been a power surge and if thats the case your entire pc is useless.
