Right in the middle of the burn process, the CD ejects and I get some kind of error. I have to do it all over again and it works. I keep wasting cd's

try different make of cd and reducing the speed of the burn. if your software has a preview burn like nero has try this 1st as it gives you a trial run

More often than just about any other issue it is, The Media you use, The Speed which you are burning, and the Software you are using to burn with.
Many users go out to wally world and buy a 30-50-100 pack of CD's and buy the cheapest they can find. Not realizing that the quality of this media is the major problem causing Burning Error's

Next the fastest speed is not always the best as you will find that burning at a slower speed gives you your best results.
There is a difference in Audio, and DATA CD's and CD-R is going to also be your best choice for many reasons.
It is not at all unusual to hace a 30 pack and get 15 good and 15 coasters. All because of poor quality.

Burn at a slower speed (like 8x).
