write some cool facts about them....thnx. i am writing a book mixing history with fantasy and it has a templar like org. so i need to match it up as much as possible.

No, the wikipedia page for Rosslyn chapel is NOT a good place to start because that is not real history. Don't believe in everything you read in the Da Vinci Code sport. There is no evidence the Templars had anything to do with that.

The best general source is probably 'The Templars' by Piers Paul Reid. It's pretty easy to get through.

They all died on Friday the 13th. I know you knew that. If you are female I love you If not, you are really cool. Go to a small town in NJ called Mount Holly take a look at the grave yard wall. Templar monument to be sure, almost scarey!! Also look at what the call a young peoples rehabilitation school about a block away and about 150 years old Good Stuff baby i am telling you. I got really close and it scared the hell out of me.

Part of writing a book, especially one with a historical setting, is doing the research. You need to spend some time at the library. There are gerat books aviialable about the Knights. I recommend you read them. You may not really be ready for authorship just yet.

they still exist and you need to research the KT yourself. there are various branches of the modern KT so it would depend upon which branch you are interested in researching to use in your book.
