Because you're young and used to looking at other young people all the time.

It's like when people of a certain race all look the same to you, b/c you don't see them often or in large quantities. Ever hear someone say all white people look the same, black people look the same, Asian, Indian, Mexican, etc? Same sort of thing.

That's so we can sneeeeek up on you and pinch your cheeks ! LOL
I have the feeling you didn't mean that to be mean,
Its kind of the same reason that some people also think that all babies look the same - Fat little cheeks. chubby little arms etc.
As people age there skin looses its elasticity , many loose the fat beneath the skin on there faces and noses and ears continue to grow. Eyelids droop, pain and ill health kick in---
What you are seeing are --- similarities ---, like the ---similarities among baby's
Look a little more closely and remember to smile !

Does that mean you can't tell your grandmother from that 50 yrs old neighbour from next door?

If people don't look the same when they are young, why would they suddenly all have the same look when they're old?

It may be their dressing style watsoever. Do look properly and not bring the wrong person home mistaking him/her to be a relative...hahax

Hey, I wont put you down Danielle, Methinks these guys are responding on a politically correct emphasis....To be fair, I think you mean stereotypically, whereby they all have grey hair, wrinkles, walking sticks and dull clothing. But each has a colourful character y'know. Sometime, bless 'em, they feel they have to dress their age and to most of 'em, that means brown suits or cardies.

Think of how different they might feel if they had someone to give them a makeover once in a while, advising them of colours and trends.

They don't.

When you are old do you think that you will be anymore like everyone else than you are now?

If you talk to old people they often have had amazing lives, and it seems a shame to lump them all together as a grey uniform mass.
