Why Girls are Weird -Pamula Ribon (no, its not some sort of self-help or informative book. Its really good, and not anything like it sounds from the name)

White Oleander -Janet Fitch (love it. Its been made into a movie...its got so much in common with my life)

and...Rapture of Canaan -Sheri Reynolds (again, got some things in commomn with my life. Really good)

Yours sound scifi-ish...usually what I read. I might look into them...
*Hmpf* I wish I could throw in 3 series aswell...I will anyways.
Harry Potter -Rowling (like you didnt know who that was by, lol!)
The Vampire Chronicles -Anne Rice
Cirque du Freak -Darran Shan

I really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I didn't think I'd actually like the book but my mother insisted that I read it. I was taken in by the detail and the beauty of the book.

The Dark Tower Series (actually 7 books) by Stephen King!
They're listed as horror (because he's traditionally a horror writer), but they're so far from horror it's incredible! I also love most of his other books.

: )
