I'm not talking about when you're reading children's books and the like. I'd say mine is 20 -25 pages per hour. Of course it tends to depend on the difficulty of the language but...

Well, if I speed read I can get about 50 pages done, but that's hard. If I read normally it's probably around 25 pages.

I'm not really sure... I remember starting a book a few weekends ago and I got through over 100 pages in about 3 hours, maybe a little longer. I'll read faster if there is something exciting going on in a book and slower when there's a low point. I suppose most people do that, but that's how I miss things because I get to reading too fast...

For fun my husband timed me reading a Harry Potter book and it was a page a minute so I guess 60 an hour.

I'd say mine would be in that area ... if it was general fun reading and not a textbook.

I don't know, but I do know that I am a very slow reader. I love to write, but hate to read. lol
