Dell laptop, with anything I am doing on my email it pops up error or problem viewing, or yahoo doesn't recognize IP

could be you managed to get a virus on the laptop.... which would not necessarily be Dell's fault (though Apple shipped a lot of computers with OEM virus instalation one year...)

Your problem is not with your Dell. The problem is with where all you have visited and Downloaded from.
You have either Malware, Spyware, a Trojan or a Virus.
If that isn't the case you need to Delete your present Account and Create a New Account using the exact same information. Note you must be extremely carefull and make sure you type the information back in EXACT as it was issued by your ISP or you still won;t have mail
