I'm not gay or anything. But why do some people always say that gay people are disgusting and stuff like that? Is is just that they don't except something that is different from them? A lot of people say that its a sin, but the Bible was written a long time ago and some views have changed (no offense to Christians). Isn't it also a sin to tell a lie or get a divorce? Some homosexuals choose to be gay or lesbian, but some were born that way. Like heterosexual people choose or were born to like the other gender. I don't think there is anything wrong with being gay. And please don't say that I'm too young to understand ..., because I'm not. I'm not saying that all people are ignorant, just SOME. I just think its wrong to judge people based on what kind of gender they like.

Also, why don't some states in the US allow gay marriages? I mean, its not anything criminal. "All men (and women) are equal.." wasn't something like that in the Constitution pr something?

I'm truly sorry if I offended any Christians. What I meant wasn't that the Bible would expire or whatever. My point is that just because there are gay and lesbian people out there doesn't mean that there aren't going to be anymore babies. And I'm not a Christian so I don't know if there's anything about homosexuals in there.

the simple answer, is that these people have some sort of obsession with everyone elses personal lives.

why on earth do they get offended by homosexuals who do nothing to them? do muslims get offended at everyone else because behind closed doors, people eat bacon and pork?no

they are what we call heterosexists, people who believe that everyone is, or should be heterosexual. theese people feel the need to impose their way of life over everyone else.

I have been saying the Constitution thing for a long time now. The Constitution states that "ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL" it doesn't say one d@mn thing about "unless you are gay". Mike Gravel one of the Democrats that participated at the forum Thursday night on logo said it best that they should have the right to marry as the people that wrote the constitution all of those years ago didn't say anything about not being guarenteed this just because you are gay. He also said that all marriage is is 2 human beings being in love and wanting to make a commitment to each other. You are right it is wrong to judge somebody in fact (and I am not being a bible thumper by any means) the bible states "JUDGE LEAST THEE BE JUDGED" meaning that it is no human's job to judge anybody about moral issues because God will do that.

I don't understand it either. I think that maybe people act like they are "repulsed" by gays just because they are so afraid of being accused of being gay. People seem to think that if they aren't afraid of someone who is gay, people are going to think they are gay themselves. People don't want to be different, so I think a lot of what people say about disliking gays is exaggerated and makes other people dislike or act like they dislke gays more. A lot of people do't understand also that being gay isn't always a choice. Gay people have a very high rate of depression and suicide and are constantly being bothered. It doesn't make sense that they would choose to be gay. It's simply the way they are. I think that if more people would come out and say, "hey, maybe I'm not gay (or if they are gay, express that), but being gay is okay, and i accept that lifestyle" more people would feel comfortable with the idea of gays. I think gays and lesbians are also portrayed by the media badly. Lesbians are often portrayed as being slutty (think the show Next on MTV and others) and gays can seem mean or way more over the top and feminine than many gays actually are. Also people make gays seem even worse because the word "gay" is kind of a word for stupid or annying to teens now. Instead of saying, I'm mad at someone. They might say that that person is so gay. It's a horrible but true reality. I only hope that as time passes, gays can be portrayed better and people can learn to accept others.

I'm not going to beat around the bush: God spoke and he expects to heard. Being gay is an abomination and doing something that he clearly stated was so is a slap in the face. Men are for women and women are for men. women+women don't equal no baby and neither does men+men. Freak politically correct. I don't care what the world say- the world don't send me to heaven or hell.I'ma listen to God's word. People who are like this should talk to a respected to church official. Anybody who tells you different from what God says is NOT doing you a favor so distance yourself. People were not born this way-They chose this path and can chose the other because I have seen it done.

First of all no one chooses to be gay!Don't worry about offending the Christians as we are constantly bombarded by insults & half truths about being gay.You are right the bible is so old & times have changed,i cant believe people put their trust & base there whole lives on what a book says that is so old. There is nothing wrong with being gay & we dont chose to be gay nor do you chose to be straight,it is just how we are & how we are bought up.

I don't think anyone "chooses" to be gay, sexuality is hormonal. That is, the basic sexual identity is first of all genetic - the XX or XY chromosomes form female or male (XY is the female variant known as “male"). From then, the endocrine system in different people produces differing levels of hormones like estrogen and testosterone.

Both males and females have a combination of these two sexual differentiating hormones but in differing amounts. Also, people of the same sex have differing mixes of the two hormones and also differing amounts of other essential hormones. Thus nobody is identical in even a hormonal sense - not even for the same gender.

People who say that homosexuals are disgusting are shallow/ uneducated bigoted idiots.

Yeah, i totally agree. Some people are just brought up to believe a certain thing. It's all about environment, I think. I mean, if you grew up in the south, you might end up with a southern accent. Its just an imprint on the person. Of course, when they're old enough to think for themselves, they can change their views, but its hard to stray away from what your grew up knowing.

So i guess, if you've got people in the old ages, even like puritan times passing on their ideas to their children, it just ends up in our generation too. I personally don't believe in the bible or god, but I've known plenty of religious people who've accepted homosexuality. In this modern time, i'm proud that a lot more people are accepting it (stupid government isn't that helpful though.)

But, you know, the majority of the people are heterosexual, so it's not "normal". It's like people calling lefties abnormal. It just happens...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being GLBT but there are shallow minded people at there that does have major problems with us, even if it is written in the bible thta homosexuality is wrong, I myself as a Christian do not care, because I believe that if homosexuals were not meant to be then GOD would not have let homsexual GENES enter our bodies as we were being created by our parents.

People need to wake up & get over it, there are more then important things to worry about then homosexuals.

The time in which the Bible was written is not an issue. God's standards don't change. As the creator of all things he knows far better then we do what the best standards of morality are and has the right to set laws as to such. Just because heterosexual people do wrong things, doesn't make it right for others to do wrong things as well, God will judge individuals based on their own actions, not on what other people do. Because we are imperfect there are wrong desires we all face on a daily basis, most homosexuals probably are born with those feelings and they may not ever change in this system, however God's laws still apply. God did not create those feelings. To ignore God's laws and act on such desires is still a sin.

It is very simple to tell you that GOD made human beings or animals or what ever the creatures on this earth to live in a healthy atmosphere healthily and flourish.
In case of animals GOD created male and female for reproduction keeping all aspects in reason. These animals do not have any sense of getting pleasure with their same gender. This is the reason that animals do not suffer with sexually transmitted diseases.
In case of Human beings also GOD has created male and female for reproduction. Here we human beings have mind to think about good and bad and treat if we get any disease.
When we do indulge in intercourse with same gender, then there are 100% cchances of getting Sexually transmitted disease, some of them may not have remedy to cure and human race may suffer with that.
Only thing is homos, have to change of their mind or make their minds to get same pleasure in a normal way as GOD told. In the Olden days homos were very much there on this earth but they use to lead the life like heteros, because of the society and they use to get pleasure also.
My humble request with the homo brothers and sisters to change their minds for the sake of GOD and humanity.
