If the persons you asked stay in a village that has a pond they might'nt understand lots. If the pond has some grassland the geese will hop onto it or play save on with the chief to 3 bodies backyard. the place i stay is a duck pond which has an island interior the middle with reeds and rushes and thats the place they stay if the pond freezes.

They migrate to a warmer place. In other words they fly away. For example the places near the equater is warm right. SO it gets colder where they are at so they fly near the equater. See their in the north were it's cold so they fly south near the equater.
