Most top contributors on YA are Libs.

Is it easy for them to NOT spend time with their kids?

Would child experts be concerned about the number of Libs who spend time becoming Top Contributors? Would they say the parent should spend more time with their kids?

I'm a parent, and a top contributor. My 17 year old is never ignored or left wanting while I'm on the computer. When I'm online he is either not home, doing his homework in the next room, or asleep. I always know where he is and he always comes first. He's an A student and his football team's QB, and is a very well adjusted and well attended young man, but thanks for your questionable concern.

I'm a top contributor solely because I only frequent two areas of this forum - Politics and Elections, and I've been a member for over a year so it just adds up I guess. When I get free time, this is my form of relaxation at home when I get some time to myself. Why all the concern with top contributors? It doesn't really mean anything of substance. It doesn't mean I'm smarter, or better, or anything silly like that.

I'm having a hard time understanding why you're so obsessed with top contributors that you post numerous questions about them. It makes it seem as though you are jealous about it. If you are that's completely silly, it really doesn't mean a thing. Everyone's opinions are just as valid as mine and carry the same weight. Why do you even care?

suited Contributor badge is given for regularity of participation to a undeniable quantity. it is to motivate answerers to stay related to Y!A which Yahoo is doing for his or her own pastime. I hate this technique of TC Badge which differentiates between the answerers. Many good answerers are answering in straight forward terms troublesome questions and for this reason have no TC Badge, yet are lots better of their solutions. Edit: comments on your comments: could a instructor provide much less marks to an stunning student purely because of the fact he already has the optimum marks interior the class ? could a cricket umpire provide a batsman out lbw against a faux allure for the explanation that having scored a century, he has adequate runs ? In math and technology class, BA is the main suitable and easiest answer and is user-friendly back to a determination. yet contained in certainly one of those questions you ask, BA isn't the only loved by utilising maximum readers, yet one that satisfies the asker and asker's prerogative has have been given to be respected.

Do you have any idea how truly MEANINGLESS being a YA Top Contributor is?

Not sure...I use YA while I'm at work...and after the kids go to bed..some people have grown children or no children...I am not sure there is any rhyme or reason to the top contributor tag anyway.

As I've stated before...
No kids here... I'm 50 and wouldn't remember where I put them if I had them now.

I think you have to answer 50 questions in a one month period and have at least a 10% best answer percentage.

Ruth, the stay at home lawyer is a conservative. Man, you are full of 'information' today, aren't you?

Anyhow, I thought that all libs had abortions, so why would they have any children? You gotta stick with a story, or it just makes you look bad.

How many hours is it taking you?

And if you say you're not a parent, then you have no experience in which to judge other parents.
