Hi,

If you want to stay with T-Mobile, firstly give them a call and ask for an upgrade.
usually the price they give you will be way too much so move to step 2 and tell them that you want your PAC code because you know that you can get the phone Free on a new contract.

They will then transfer you to the disconnections department who will offer you a far better price (usually Free).

If this doesn't work because the phone you are after is very expensive you can either move networks with your PAC code and keep your number or take on a new connection with a new number.

Once you receive your new phone you can slip your old SIM card in and carry on with your existing number.
After 3 months simply lower the tariff that came with the new SIM card to the lowest possible - £15.00 with T-Mobile.
You'll end up paying this for the duration of hte contract (12 or 18 months) so you need to sit down and work out which way is cheaper for you.

For ALL T-Mobile phones see:

Hope this helps.

Since you're still with T-Mobile, you can keep your SIM card. It will work in any T-Mobile phone, actually. The only time you need to get a new sim card is if your phone is lost or stolen, or if you just get new service. All of the changes that are important happen in T-Mobile's database, or system. All you need to worry about is enjoying your service.

If you are staying with the same service, T-Mobile, you can just easily put the same SIM card in a new phone and it will work just like on the old phone with the same phone number and everything.

If you are switching froma prepaid or select plan and going to a contract plan you can keep the same number and use the same sim card. The only thing that will change is the way you are billed.

When you make the switch, be sure to find out if you are eligible to upgrade phones, if you don't ask they won't tell you!

When you signed up for this new contract, didn't the T Mobile people tell you that you can still have the same number as before and that all you need to do is ring up Customer Services so you could still kepp your old number aswell as the new number you got?
