both are good in a different way they all tell you to be good and do good and that's good enough.

Definitely a philosopher is better than Buddasism b'cos philosophy leads us to success without any stupid religious believes

It's not a question of better or worse, rather which will help that particular person learn Truth best. Sometimes it's as simple as a cultural difference.

I thought that they were the same thing? I am just not sure of which is better but they both have good things about them. You become much more wiser when you are taught both.

Whats better is to get life and then forget completely about it. So i d say Zen Buddhism, is a very good philosophy.

why choose.......enlightenment is about loosing ignorance, becoming one with ur surroundings and being able to achieve understanding.
