A wristlet filled with all of your essentials. *It was my life saver in 10th grade!* Fill your wristlet with yummy lip gloss, gum or mints, your house and/or car keys, a small bottle of perfume (If it can fit in there), money or credit cards, and your I.D.. A wristlet is a must have in high school because it will be a lot less bulkier to carry with a backpack then having a large purse. It won't only do you good on the first day, it will do you good the entire year!

If you want the opinion of a teacher's aide, the best thing to carry with you to school is a commitment to success!
Commit to organizing this school year's work as your top priority. This doesn't mean that you should forget your friends and family, no, no!
Carry a commitment to yourself that no matter what happens outside of school, your first job is to create work that would be good enough to hang in front of the class. It may not be displayed on a wall when you are in high school, but the work should be... THAT GOOD!
The year goes by too fast to slide through your work.There is no time to make up for assignments done poorly in the past. So, put an extra five minutes or so to review your work before you turn it in and ask yourself....Is this worth an "A"?
I hope that you see more "A"s this year than ever! Best of luck to you always :)

i definatley think it is your clothes, a.k.a your first impression you make on people. thats also my favourite thing about the first day of school, new clothes ! i always have a few outfits ready for any kind of weather ! xoxo, meg <3
