Giving in to peer pressure just to become accepted/popular. If you are doing things just to make people like you, in the long run you won't like yourself, and those people don't really like YOU either, since you aren't being your own person. Anyone who respects you will respect your choices.

Stopping in the middle of the hallways, walking slowly, basically getting in other students' way. I understand it takes a couple of weeks to get everything down- the campus, your schedule, etc. However, if you need to stop or slow down for any reason, move to the edges of the hallways. All the other kids have places to be. Usually schools allow students about 5 minutes to get from class to class, and many schools are huge. 5 minutes is very doable, if you've been there a while, but when students stand in your way it slows you down significantly. Good luck, and have fun in high school! It's a blast!

There is actually a person that I know, who comes to mind. This girl wanted to be accepted so badly! She went on our schools myspace and added EVERYSINGLE CURRENT STUDENT! She always tried to hang out with sophomore and junior girls and tried to hook up with senior guys! She was desperate! To me, she had it written all over her! I would say just be yourself! You will be looked down on from upperclassmen whether you are immature or not, so don't try to impress anyone!

Have fun in high school!

That would be anything they would later regret, anything that would mess up their future, or anything that would hurt, harm or destroy another person. There's a big, wonderful life after college. Think before you act. Hugs........

Be loud, hyper, and obnoxious.
People can tell when a group of kids are freshmen by that.
