he was right in '94, and decided to lie about it in '02 because he saw the change in the fortunes of the world of oil. The soldiers he said were not worth losing to deposing Saddam apparently are worth losing for oil. It had nothing to do with democracy, freedom, stabilization (except for the sake of oil), terrorism, or protecting the US. The soldiers dying there now are dying for either oil or nothing. Are you willing see a member of your family die for Iraq or oil? Or are YOU willing to die for Iraq or oil? How many other people are you willing to see die for Iraq or oil. I'd rather see Iraq crumble and get along without ME oil.
