Why do older men like younger women?

Nobody really answered your question, 'why'. The answer is easy, you can thank that gene inherited from our ancestors who first roamed the savannahs of Africa. Those that survived were the alpha males, the ones able to get their seed to carry on their line. The younger females of child bearing ages were the most likely candidates. When men say the younger ones are fresher, cuter, less ugly, and whatever other reasons you see listed above, they're REALLY infering something very basic to our species. The instinct for survival and procreation are hard-wired into all of us. Socialization and the 'proper' way to live is a recent development of our species, say within the last 5,000 years. The millenia before that, our genes were being 'hard-wired' so to speak.

Anyway, that's the short answer.

This is really a difficult question to answer. Also, this is a relative question. There have been men who are attracted to older women(for wat eva reason). Einstein is one such man. Logically, if yu look at the question, a man must first be successful in his life to take on a partner. He must be in capacity to feed his woman. I am not a male chauvinist, but am just voicing the fact that many women love to feel secure wen with her man. Be it physically, mentally or financially. Now, this struggle to make a mark will take a while for the men. By then, most women his age or more, are taken. He then has to go for the newer and younger generation.
But medically speakin, I wud like to point at this fact- As a man proceeds in age his maturity towards life changes and inclination towards a wild and sexually active life reduces. Also, it is observed that the sexual desire in women stops at an earlier age compared to men(menopause). Usually 5-8yrs before men. To balance this, it is advisable if a man chooses to be with a woman 5 to 8 yrs his junior.

I think you are jealous and lonely about not finding any men worth your while your age and them being taken by younger women. Fear not, some younger guys like older woman.

Oh as for why older men like good looking younger woman, they like them for the same reason all men like them and want them for.

I just want some1 i can have a conversation with. About more than beer and parties...guys my age are never too bright. If they were i would go for them.
If younger women get with older guys doesn't that finally prove Men are more superficial than women??

Some of it may be genetic. Sex used to be all about reproduction and younger women are generally more fertile. Personally I think younger women are definitely more attractive, but I can't quantify it.

i dont think its just older men, all men like younger women (u usually dont see a guy going "check out that old bag of wrinkles" u know what i mean?) and yeah it makes them feel like they're young again i guess.

I think it makes them feel younger and worthwile with some sparks of attraction left but I just want to add that as a rule of thumb, grey hair and acne don't mix.
