The fact of the matter is that Muslims just hate Christians and Jews. Take religion out of the equation and you'll have peace in the Middle East and other Islamic countries.

Nope. They would just find other things to hate. That's just human nature.

No, actually, Muslims don't hate Christians and Jews. Just the opposite.

Because they share common roots, Islam sets Christianity and Judaism up for special status. They were, and still are, given better treatment and tolerance than other religions.

Now, it's true that the Koran has alot of disputes with Jews, and that's been fueled tremendously by the creation of Israel and modern-day Jew-bashing all over the Muslim world. But the idea that hating Jews and Christians is a part of the Muslim faith is just wrong. Many Muslims may hate Jews, and maybe even Christians, but it's not based just on the fact that they are Muslim.

But yeah, if you took religion out of the equation you'd probably have peace sooner, since that's the main dividing line.

Middle Eastern Muslims are taught to hate from birth till death.
Their parents, schools, Immams and leaders teach them fervently to hate Jews, Americans, Western Civilization and even other sects of Islam.
Anyone who finds a way to blame the US or Israel is a fool. How could we be responsible for making someone else saw the head off of an innocent civilian or blow ones self up in the presence of other innocent civilians?
Muslims don't realize that Islam is their worst enemy

Ronnie-

The question has nothing to do with World War 1 and 2. Why is that you leftists can't just answer a question? Why do you always refer to some historical event that has nothing to do with current circumstances to support you idiotic arguments?

And exactly what evidence do you have that supports your "Christians started WW1 and WW2 argument"?

Stop being an apologist for friggin Muslims, they don't like you and they would never defend you.

Who's the real idiot here?

No you will not.

War is 99% of the time the result of geography. Look at the history of the tribes in the region, their location to arable land, to water, and to trade access.

Get everone water, cheap energy, the means to grow food, the means to deliver and receive goods and services, and then you will have peace.

yes, but things really get messy when the links of identification get crossed. narrow identity with religion is enough to bring about a thousand-year war, but when you bring cultural and political ties into the mix, you have something like a tangled pile of necklaces that no one knows how to begin to fix. it's going to take a long time to get people to start identifying themselves with the human race instead of binding their definition of the self so tightly with religious, cultural, and political groups. i only hope i'm around to see the day...

No they dont HATE us, they just dont want us intruding on their lifestyles. They beleive all we want is their oil and money and, rightfully so, dont want us there. If part of the US were forced to become a country for all the jews to go and you had to be kicked out, im sure you woudnt happy as well. Same if a bunch of muslims came here and started taking our money and nataural resources, we would complain about our god given rights being intruded on. If we just let the middle east be, than im sure our image and standing in the world would improve.

Correct. It would be impossible to remove religion and you forgot to add the tribalism factor.

It's all Bush, remember? He is the reason for the hatred in the Middle East. (sarcasm)
