My daughter at about that age, just loved to watch us gut the trout we'd caught... was fascinated by the inner workings of the fish... nope, not weird at all (although I'd probably limit the most gruesome video available)....

Not odd in the least, just kind of different. Different stokes for different folks, that is the saying. Would you find it strange that I like watching on television, anything to do with Egyptology?

kids like gorey stuff,
In the old fairy tales, kids like the bloody parts.
Its only adults that prefer to tell the modern cleaned up versions.
Not odd, just the way kids are
