Liens are supposed to be recorded at the county courthouse. You could check with them. Or ask an attorney...they know how to easily check on these things.

Go to your county clerk's office and research their records. Liens are a matter of public record so if your property has a lien, it should be there, if the secured party has filed it yet.

Hope this helps...

The easiest way would be to go to a title company and have them research it for you. If you are industrious you can try to do a title search on your own at the hall of records.
