Hi, I have a tank which is about 50litres in size, I bought a Leopard Catfish last week but have since read a lot online that says that they should be kept in shoals of around 5 fish? Is this true? Would it be ok to keep just 2?
The woman in the fish shop didnt tell me this and I wouldnt have bought it if I had known I had to keep so many of them as I dont particularly want to fill my wee tank with catfish no matter how pretty they are!

Assuming you mean leopard cory catfish like these:
http://www.brooklands.co.nz/tropical/leopard_cat.htm then yes, they will do somewhat better in a group, but 2-3 would do very well in your tank and would leave plenty of room for additional fish.

na u dont have 2 keep ur leopard cat fish with anythin really but i wud keep 2 wif him i only started of wif 1 fish after i left school now i got 11 fish 4 small fish n a blue lobster but in different tanks
