That they are using poor English-
The adjective and adverb, Wrong, as in 'incorrect' comes from the Old Norse rangr - to be mistaken.
'when someone wrongs you' it is from the old English word, wrang - to do you an injustice - inflicting harm without due provocation or just cause - and entered English via Saxon law, Wrong, (noun) a violation or invasion of the legal rights of another.
thus your sentence is using a abbreviation of the transient verb, to be wronged, - implies inflicting injury either unmerited or out of proportion to what one deserves. Thus to do wrong to; is to treat unfairly or unjustly; harm.

LOL, oh, you are serious.
The phrase itself comes from a country and western song, if I remember correctly and there have been a number of variations on a theme with it.
"she left me and she did me wrong" when a women cheated on her man.
"He left me and did me wrong" when a man cheated on a woman.
"someone did me wrong" when someone stole someone's money / food / rent / house / woman / man / dog or anything else they could take. Can also mean someone was hurtful, disrespectful, emotionally blackmailing etc.
Not long ago, I stated hearing about "someone dissin me" someone else. While it really means "someone was disrespectful to me" (most of the letters have gone missing) it comes down to the same thing. Someone did me wrong.

It means that someone accuses you of saying or doing something that you have not done or said. It means being being accused of being guilty when you are innocent. Basicly you have done nothing wrong
