Remember it like this;
Positive multiplied by positive is positive
negative multiplied by negative is also positive
positive multiplied by negative is negative
negative multiplied by positive is negative
When the two signs are the same it is positive
When the two signs are different it is negative
You can have any number of pos or neg in an equation.Just take the first two and see what it comes out to, then use the result of that to mult the next term and see what that comes out to. Best of luck.

Don't worry, you will do fine.
Just the fact that you are interested enough to be asking this question shows that you are serious about passing the test, so I am confident that you already studied everything you need.

But to answer your question:
any time you multiply an even number of negatives together, you get a positive.
In other words, two negatives multiplied together gives a positive; 3 negatives multiplied together gives a negative; 4 negatives gives a positive; 5 gives a negatives; 6 gives a positve; and so on.

Hope this helps!

Rules regards result in sign (+ or -) in multiplication:
Like signs results to + and unlike signs results to -.
Examples:
+ * + = +
- * - = +
+ * - = -
- * + = -

We start with the way you arrange the numbers and multiply them one by one:
- 78 * + 12 * - 13
- 936 * - 13
+ 12,168

Let's rearrange the numbers and multiply them one by one:
- 78 * - 13 * + 12
+ 1,014 * + 12
+ 12,168

Try rearranging them on your own and proceed with multiplication. Follow the rules about assigning + or - as indicated above. You'll see that the result in any case would still be the same.

Positive x Positive = Positive
Negative x Positive = Negative
Negative x Negative = Positive

Other than that, just multiply normally.

The key to passing the GED is to not over-study. Some people think it's going to be extremely difficult. It's really not a difficult test.

Amazingly, I scored highest on my math test, which was always my worst subject in school.

Good Luck. Try not to over-think it.
