The cheapest source of baby brine shrimp is to hatch it your self. Eggs are available in most any pet shop or in bulk from many websites and sellers on the web.

You can also save money by building your own hatchery. Just google DIY brine shrimp and your get plans for several methods.

BBS is BABY brine shrimp. In other words, you have to hatch it yourself. You can get brine shrimp eggs just about anywhere. They are sold at all pet stores and fish stores and even some toy stores (sold as "sea monkeys"). Hatching brine shrimp is very easy. The baby brine shrimp are most nutritious the first 12 hours after hatching.
