Any of these products?
Dippity Do
Yardley Soaps
Hair Spools
Psssssssst
Jade East
SweetHeart Soap
Evening in Paris
Tigress Cologne
Do you know all that stuff and more is STILL available? Check it out - even old time candies! So, no, this isn't particularly a question, just a trip down memory lane.

Truly this is not an advertisement. I got a catalog from this Vermont store a while ago and just looking at the stuff we used to use, seeing it still available, made me chuckle and I just wanted to share.

I remember most of them.
I've received the Vermount Country Store catalogs and really enjoy browing thru the catalog. It is like a trip down memory lane complete with photos of the products. I feel very guilty when I don't order something from the catalog.
I'm glad you encouraged "seniors" to check it out.

I love the Vermont Store catalog. I order the perfume/power called Tweed from there. You should get their door draft stuffed with pines. I also found the chiffon scarves that I cannot find in the stores today. Everything is silk.
Yes I heard and lived through all of those products!

I remember Yardley and Evening in Paris. I found one of the small blue Evening bottles at a flea market sale and snatched it up as an antique.
We have one of the old time candy stores here and I love going in sometimes and getting stuff for the kids but it sure is expensive now. No more 2 for a penny.LOL

The first impression people would automatically assume is, is this an advertisement, as noted by the first comment. However, I found vermontcountrystore one day, and it was so much fun to see the items that were once used years ago, and it DID give me a fun walk down memory lane. In fact, for Christmas, I made baskets filled with items you don't see in the stores that are "oldies but goodies"; it was a big hit! Thanks for sharing this with others that can have fun "looking".

My 2 girlfriends and I all went to get our hair trimmed when we were 12. Moms dropped us off and went for a glass of beer and told us to call when we were done. We all 3 got our waist length hair cut into duck tails--used alot of dippity do the rest of the summer. Wore those skinny little ivy league belts with 2 buckles and clam diggers. Ha!!

Oh, I love this question. My gosh, when I was 11, I thought Evening in Paris was the best stuff. I could buy a gift box for $5.00.
I used Dippity-Do. Jade-East was the super best for the guys to wear. I still buy Yardley soap in Lavender. It smells so good to me. I didn't like it when I was a kid but now I do, because lavender has become so popular now.
I remember commercials for Sweetheart soap.
I think we always bought Camay.
Thanks for the memories.

I remember Yardley soaps, English Lavender, English Rose, Lily of the Valley, as far as I know they're still available today, alongside a few modern ones.
Not heard of the rest on your list though.

I have a beauty shop and dippy do and other products are the same just a different name and the new ones on the market are not really as good and cost twice as much.
