My local community college has classes for continuing education... things you don't get credits for. They have 2 classes to learn how to dance. The first is ballroom dancing the second is Latin dance. I am totally clueless when it comes to dancing. Are these valid tools in a man’s arsenal? Do women really like to do this or is it just hip hop *** grinding in the sweaty nightclubs?

I think a man should definitely learn to dance. Women do love to dance which is why you see women dancing with each other so much. Their men can't or won't dance with them. I met many ladies because I could dance and usually they asked me since they saw me dancing earlier. As to ballroom stuff these days I don't know about that but learning to follow the music and move with it will equip you for any kind of dancing. If you can waltz there are plenty of women who still do that. I call it "The rhythm method"!

I love to dance!!! First time I saw my husband was at a party and wow did he know how to dance. For me personally, since I like to dance, this was a +++. But yet, some people dont like to dance, and my brother in a law is an example. He doesnt dance AT ALL = ) So its up to the person you meet. DO YOU really like to dance? Dont learn how to dance if its something you dont like or will enjoy! I dance because I enjoy the feeling of just dancing!
Hope this helped = )

ballroom dancing is such a plus...I think it's sad that guys these days don't know how to dance besides grinding in the club...take the ballroom dancing class it might come in handy one day...especially when you get married you'll be ten steps ahead of the game.

Should a man learn to dance? I say yes unless you don't mind your girl dancing with other men!

And I admit..Nightclub dancing...never wanted to do the other stuff.

Me & my hubby are signing up for ballroom dancing in a couple weeks.

If you don't want to sit on the sidelines while your GF or wife is tearin' it up on the floor, I suggest you get at least some basic lessons. I think we all appreciate a man who can go out there without embarrassing himself (or US!)

I don't care if he CAN dance, I don't want to be waltzed around the floor. But, I do care if he doesn't want to take me out onto the floor and slow dance with me. A slow dance is a very intimate experience, and it'd be nice to find a man that isn't embarrassed to do such with a woman he's loves.
