Hi, DC! I'm so bummed. David and I sat out in the front yard for an hour (at least) looking for the persied display and saw NOTHING. but an airplaine. it was cloudy and way too bright from our location. In November going to go up North to Flagstaff and watch the show from there. Am envious of all the people who did get see a great show! Did you???

I was in Illinois and saw lots. We stayed out friday and saturday night from 12-1 am. The perseid shower was very nice. They were every where but I'd say more in the southern sky that I noticed.

yes.
Austin TX.
I thought it was hazy and bright here.

I couldn't see them from the city so I went to the country for 2 hours.

Then I saw about 40 of them. still had horizon light blocking most of my view.

1 really cool one lasted a while and had a broken choppy trail.
(my favs. it was one that skipped on the atmosphere like a flat pebble on a lake)

and still disappointed.

Waiting for the Leonids now
