T-shirts under a shirts tend to be a no-no in today's fickle world of fashion - but I am glad you have chosen to go for a long sleeved one! The black shirt is a good start, i don't know if it is a formal style or not, but wear it without the tee, and leave it with two buttons unfastened - or go for the poppy look and throw on a black skinny tie worn incredibly loosely, try roughly rolling up the sleeves too. With a black shirt you can afford to go for various shades of darker denim - and even mix the look of the more formal shirt (and tie) with slightly shredded jeans - not too ripped though. I would forget the trainers, white ones will not go with the black shirt. Go for a pair of casual black shoes/trainer hybrids instead. Just one more thing - black shirts only look good when they are new, if it is faded then dye it!! Hope this helps
