Funny, but I am just about to embark on living in a hotel for 4 months in Ireland.

Main reasons for doing this are a good long term rate, no housework, no rental deposit, central location in town, bar downstairs and can leave at short notice if I need to.

I too would like to hear the experience of others.

Yes - six months travelling in India. Many places, many hotels.

Not quite that long,,,but a couple of weeks,,we were waiting for on post housing to become available..

Sadly, yes ... part of my business expenses/travel requirements (including, at times, during my Military Career -- from which I am HONORABLY RETIRED!).
