I just don't think she can bounce back after all that has happened. Girls don't look up to her anymore. So that fanbase is gone. I guess all thats left is pervs. But you got to admit, Britney kind of brought it on herself. I can't really think of anything musically she could do. To get respect back she could show some real parenting to her kids. She could possibly donate to some charities or something, just so we believe she is a nice person. Then maybe she could do less partying, and work up a comeback. But I doubt Brit would do any of that.

The only way she'll make a comeback is to die in a plane crash. Then everyone will say she was the "greatest ever".
She has done so much to damage her ability to connect with the general population, I believe the damage is incapable of repair at this point in time. Maybe 10 or 15 years from now people will have forgotten her lying, her boozing, and her craziness...maybe

Why?
All celebrities get their 15 seconds of fame, and in her case, she probably got more than 15 seconds.
Her business manager would have invested her income to set her up for life, knowing fully well that being a pop celebrity is NOT a profession with a long shelf life.
Being a doctor, yes, a lawyer yes, You can get 20-30 years more of that profession.
The best thing she can do is gracefully bow out of the limelight, hold on to her dignity, live off her investments, and reinvent herself after a period of hiatus.
Go back to school and get a degree.

She's pretty much a joke now. She's seen as a bad influence on children so she should stick to an older audience.
She might try to keep singing, perverted Madonna style. Or do playboy, she allready has the skank atmosphere about her.
She could become a comedian and talk about her life. >.<

Become an actress, maybe take a risky part in a high-brow BBC/PBS drama... preferably an adaptation of some classic piece of literature
