Why do you answer on some questions "I don't know"?
What's the point of that?
Isn't that totally opposite of the meaning yahoo answers?!

I don't know, lol. Just kidding. I think people answer some questions with "I don't know" just to get points. It's totally useless though, because they'll never get a chance for best answer. Yahoo answers was created to help people in finding information and asking for help, opinions. Atleast this is what I think.

Sometimes it is the best answer. I wish that those who post it didn't bother, but it is better than a 1/3 of the answers we get from those who think they DO know.

I never say, "I don't know" because the purpose of Answers is to give answers.
Some people just want points, and I have no idea why.

don't do that seems dopey unless someone wants to state
a related opininion. could also be a case I don't know but i think or I don't know the exact answer but I do know this realated thinh for ec meds for me but I don'y know if they will work 4 u its a way of qualifying
