Does YA Ever Allow a Republican to be a Top Contributor?

YA seems to do its best to have a large group of Libs as "Top Contributors."

The point is that YA has a ton more Libs than Republicans as top contributors.

Sad and sick. Right?

People often lose accounts because they are good at hitting the nerve of the other party.

It is plain WRONG to allow that to happen.

The extreme liberals have more free time on their hands for message boards and such since they aren't working full time jobs. If you have 100 extreme liberals and only 10 neocons, who will end up with more "top contributor" distinctions?

There are, and I'm glad to see them around.
But the majority of people asking and answering questions seem to be politically more motivated than average.
So the debates get a bit overheated at times between the "warring" factions.
Also a lot of republicans feel its their duty to stand up for the current government and the President.
Perfectly and rightfully so, I applaud that.
Unfortunately they are more likely to step on some sensitive toes that way. 70% to 30% at the moment.
Not counting foreigners like me ( World ) which must be 90-10 if that.
Result : fewer best answers, fewer points,more violations
It's the way the cold equations work, it could however be argued that American Democrats have tended to be a bit
disgracious in victory.
A bit petty to get their own back for the Clinton impeachment.

I suppose it's just their standards for who they hang around with that explains their association with the likes of the Republican Leedership!

Psychology can often explain why supposedly intelligent people do such questionable things. This could explain why there are apparently a hand full of smart Republicans.

this could be a miles extra useful and tutorial gadget if neither of the self proclaimed occasion followers participated. i'm ill to death of infantile call calling and stone throwing. impossible to have interplay in political debate, which i'm assuming this communicate board became created to do, whilst each physique is purely attracted to taking photos on the intelligence point of the 'different' occasion. isn't any one attracted to creating the U. S. an incredible united states back? Or is each physique extra fascinated in the schoolyard squabbling. unhappy, extremely....

YA doesn't choose top contibutors, not does it investigate the political beliefs of any user. Top contributors are automaticaly selected after being voted "best answer" sufficient times by other users. I'm not sure about your particular responses, but I have noticed that many of the more conservative users tend to offer responses that are rude and insulting. Not the way to get voted "best answer."

Hey Joe , these folks are right . You get 'Top Contributor' for percentage of best answers . If it seems that more liberals have it , it's only because there are more liberals on here .

..... your really reaching for this one man.. Y!A has no control over the number of people who are top contributors, nor do they have any control over your perception of more liberal than conservative ones. They set a minimal requirement and EVERYONE who reaches that gets the icon.
