Q1: what radiation from the sun reaches the earth? (after passing through ionosphere, mesosphere, and stratosphere.. )

Q2: can u think of any useful photoreaction on earth (other than sun tanning) ? try to write a chemical equation..

Q1 is ultraviolet or UV. It is hazardous if u being exposed to it for a long time.

Q2: Photoreaction also can be obtained in photosynthesis, a process of plant's making food (glucose), with CO2 and UV light (sunlight). This reaction released oxygen as a by product while water is consumed and also released.

1) Ultraviolet rays

2)Photosynthesis - chlorophyll, water, radiant energy, and carbon dioxide - process in which plants use the energy given off by the sun to make food. chlorophyll has the job of converting the energy from the sun that is not usable into chemical energy. during the process, it absorbs water to gve off oxygen at night.

So here's the formula:
6H2O + 6CO2 ----------> C6H12O6+ 6O2

six molecules of water + six molecules of carbon dioxide produce one molecule of sugar + six molecules of oxygen
