Please answer only if you have first hand experience, not speculation. First off, obviously it's not an ipod, it's not going to work like an ipod such and so forth. But if you have one, do you like it? How well does it work? Would you buy one again if you had the opportunity? Or are they all just junk?

There are much better options out there other than generic ripoffs of iPods or other players. Check your local Walmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, etc they should all have more budget friendly players available. You can also check their websites. I've included a link of what Walmart.com offers just to give you an idea. Quite a few of the cheap players they offer have 4-5 star ratings and are a much better idea than the knock-offs on eBay. As for shipping a few have the option of having them delivered to your local Walmart and therefore have free shipping with that option. No I never bought one of the iPod ripoffs nor would I recommend anyone else to. It's your money but you will only have yourself to blame if you buy that kind of junk.

i got one for a friend b4, sorry i can't recall the brand.. i can search my feedback for it...
out of the box it was difficult to figure out bcse the instructions were faded and a poor copy
i could get songs on it but couldn't figure out the other settings- pic, video, FM radio etc
and it would shut itself off if we took too long making a song selection.
couldn't figure out the shuffle either.

if i ever go generic again i would contact other buyers to see how they like theirs first off.
i might also go to walmart or target and get one from there. that way there is no shipping. you can buy a warranty in case of damage etc.
and you can return it sooo much easier to a store than to china or where ever yours might originate from
