im kind of christian (hard to explain) and im 100 percent FOR gay marriage and i love homosexual ppl!! however i notice how so many christians use what some ppl call convenient hatred against gay ppl - they use the whole 'well in the bible it says being gay is a sin blah blah blah' ive gone to religious schools my entire life and whenever i bring up the fact that the bible was written in a completely different era and it was written by men which inevitably makes it biased they say that the bible applies to all times. then i say wel what about women being inferior to men, incest, racism, and slavery....all of which are in the bible and justified...and these self righteous christians go 'oh well thats different' ...funny.

what do you think about it?

Christians are hypocrites. God is supposed to love all of his creations *cept me and the snake* END OF STORY! There is no "OH BUT GAY PPL-" blahblah non sense. 1st rule, god loves ALL of his children regardless of race, or orientation. SO BOO ON YOU CHRISTIANS!!!! Plus the bible is man made. Did god send it down from the heavens?? NO! Man made the damn bible, so don't trust everything in it! Anything that justifies hatred for someone for being different is sh*t!

Let me just say that I love gay ppl, I just don't like their life style. I don't hate anyone. I accept all and will treat them like the next person, so long as they are not a personal threat to anyone. That, however does not mean I agree with their lifestyle.

1st of all, the Bible never says that Women are inferior to men. Nor those it say that slavery is right and racism is right. You can't support what you say b/c its not there in the Bible. your interpretation is soooo off.

You contradict yourself. You say that Christians are hateful for believing what the Bible clearly states? Why would the Bible support hatefulness?....you say you are 1/2 christian, ...that makes you 1/2 Bigot also.

You are one of those pityful people who wants everyone to feel good about them selves, even if it means turning on what you know to be the truth. You want them to feel like they are o.k. when they are not.

People like you are not firm in their beliefs. How in the world can you be kinda christian and kinda not?

God says either you are hot or cold.....you are luke warm and he spits you out of his mouth. You can't have two masters. You serve God 100% or 0%.

I'm tired of being equvalated to a racist.

An acquaintance of mine said, "I have in my heart a love for all of God’s children. I have no ill feeling toward any human being. With you, I hate sin, but I love the sinner. We all have need to repent." I agree with this.

Regarding your complaint that "the bible was written in a completely different era and it was written by men which inevitably makes it biased" . . . the problem is that mankind tries to change the eternal laws of God to meet their desires rather than seeking to align their thoughts and actions with the will of God. Unchanging principles are so because they come from our unchanging Heavenly Father. Those laws are constant. All laws of nature and of God are part of the everlasting gospel.

Hmmm, well I am a Christian, and have been for several years. Personally I don't know one Christians that "hates" gay people. Most Christians I know, hate NO one. So I can't answer your question. Seem to me though that you have a real personal problem with Christianity PERIOD, so how open are you to honest answers?
Have a great day.

Dissagreeing with, doesn't = hate.

Its obvious that you are be lead astray by the enemy. Women aren't inferior, gay people are humans, but don't say the bible this and that.
