I think I have a jelly palm. Thanks for all your help.

If you do have a jelly palm, the fruits are about 1" long , yellow to orange and you can eat them. Another identifying factor of jelly palm is that the leaf stalks remain on the trunk. I've never known the fruit from this palm by any special name, just jelly palm fruit. They are native to Brazil.
