This link gives some very useful advice. http://www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-violence-survivors-handbook.asp?section=000100010008000100330002
The police may or may not be bringing charges, in which case you should press them so that the CPS apply for conditional bail, the condition being that this person does not approach within a certain distance of either of you. The trouble is, bail conditions end when the case ends, so you should be applying for a non-molestation order (details on the link), which will survive irrespective of how the case goes.

Yes,especially since you had to call the police - are they pressing charges against her? I think you will need a solicitor to get a molestation order (same thing as an injunction) on her or maybe the police may be able to get one under the circumstances. You get 30mins free legal advice from a solicitor anyway so book yourself an appointment & take it from there.

In most jurisdictions, yes. Most states allow you to get a "harassment order" against someone who has repeatedly physically assaulted or threatened physical violence against you. In addition, most states have domestic violence statutes which allows you to get a protective order against someone who you were married or living together (and in some states, one that you had a "substantial romantic or physical relationship" with) usually in the past year. Domestic violence orders are usually more substantial, with better enforcement measures.
Find a domestic violence shelter around... they normally treat women, but if your bf is just looking for legal assistance, then they will likely hook him up with an attorney or give him the papers to proceed "pro se."
Otherwise contact the local state bar association or the legal aid society to see if there is a referral for an attorney to help procure a "no contact harassment or domestic violence" order. If your bf has sufficient funds, this shouldn't cost more than $1000. If he doesn't have much money, there are pretty good pro bono programs that really help.
Good luck!

Sure you can - you can abandon your child for another woman why wouldnt you go ahead and get the mother into trouble with the law - I mean she means nothing to you right? As does the child you had with her - just walk away and don't look back - after all its just YOUR CHILD! You are a creep and the child is better off without you - no man ( and i mean a MAN) would give up his child for some woman.
