The human race has been traditionally scared of the night because we can't see in the dark. Ghost stories stem from that fact. Cats can see in the dark, that's why they don't believe in ghosts. Fiat lux.

How do you know cats don't believe in ghosts?
They may well see many things we don't.
It is our primal instinct to be afraid of the dark, because this was when we were at our most vulnerable to feral animals. You are also far more likely to have an accident. Our other senses are heightened in the dark because our sight is less reliable.
By the way ghosts can appear in the day time too.

Cats are actually extremely sensitive to energies. I grew up in a haunted house, and my cats reacted very strongly to the energies in the house. I don't agree that ghost stories stem from a fear of the dark. Earthbounds could care less what time of day it is. They'll make their presence known whenever they feel like it.

Ah, but cats are evil. Therefore, they'd be in league with the ghosts, now wouldn't they? Your proof is just part of the feline propaganda machine!

Perhaps cats are so used to seeing ghosts and such they don't feel anything's out of order, it's just another part of their enviroment.

There is no logical evidence to support the existence of ghosts. christian schloars say dead remain so until judgement day, and atheists say death is final. either way, there are no real ghosts. there are hoaxes and con men saying they exist.

Cats don't have large enough brains, like other animals. Plus they can't talk.

Your theory is flawed. And is hardly proof.
