Distance! Done in the hope of being so distantly removed when Bush is out, people will have forgotten his involvement, and he can pick up a lucrative job on the open market for ex politician associated dead beats, who in Bush's 2nd term of office, virtually destroyed America's standing, reputation and its universally gained respect, once attributed to America, by a host of grateful and supporting foreign nations:

It's fairly common for top WH execs/advisors to leave halfway through the final term in order to parlay the experience into a sweet job in the private sector. A "strike while the iron is hot" motif.

I don't see why Rove (or Libby) belongs in jail for something that someone named Armitage did. All Rove ever was/is, is an election analyst. But he was sooooo good at what he does, opposition wants him dead out of fear he'll steer another candidate to victory. He's quite much in the same mold as Carville in his ability to triangulate and divide.

the two occasion incumbents are leaving for 2 motives: The voters is calling for substitute in congress as to break the gridlock. latest individuals of congress are bored with the gridlock and being ineffective as no person needs to get something performed. adult adult males like Evan Bayh, who's enormously respected by utilising the two events, are purely ill and bored with the relentless partisanship and not prefer to hitch it. And right that's a guy who might win re election particularly. he's purely ill of what's occurring in Washington, particularly congress.

Both "political" parties had/have their share of rats. Hell, Slick Willie had a few himself who belonged in jail. He himself perjured a grand jury in his testimony. The problem with government over the last thirty years is that they vote themselves too many entitlements and the Presidents of past and present sign off on them. Hell, neither party can agree on anything of true substance. They can't even decide on what toilet paper is appropriate to wipe there *ss with when they're done using the bathroom. The two party system is archaic and outdated. The people that vote them in to office to represent them are last on their list of concern. The Founding fathers of this nation never intended for people to make serving in government a lifelong career choice. You served your two or three terms and went back to private life. BUT because of voting themselves entitlements many who "serve" this country realize they can be set for life on our tax money. Blog sorry for going off on a tangent. But Rove belonging in jail or Slick Willie going to jail in past days is immaterial. These guys and gals in Congress and the Executive branches of government are getting fat off of our hard earned money which we pay taxes to feed the greedy machine. Hell, the U.S. government is the only business I know of that can run in the RED for 30+ years and get away with it. WE as citizens of this country should wake up!

He belongs under the jail! I wish he would not only leave but also take both george and dick with him in the absolute literal sense! When you see that pudgy, queer face of his you want to blow it off! George listens to this POS, would you want some thing like this running the nation?

Why is this about the 10th question this morning to refer Rove leaving as a "rat deserting the sinking ship"?

This is a perfect example of Liberals not being able to form a coherent thought on their own. Someone is feeding them this brilliant little catch phrase and they are all going out like good little soldiers to spread the word.

I saw that just earlier...but come on...a "rat deserting a sinking ship"?

I'd say more like a cowardly captain refusing to go down with HIS ship...

You are missing something.

What did he do to deserve to go to jail? Usually, in this great country, you have to actually commit a crime first.

Typical liberal. Lets let "rehabilitate" the child rapist and set him free... and toss Rove, who committed no crime, in jail.

You are DEFINITELY missing something.
