I sometimes think about relatives who have died, but I don't speak to them. It's a bit of a one sided conversation.
I've always been interested in the paranormal and I once knew a lady who claimed to be a medium (she was a size ten). She worked in the local CO-OP and once told me an old lady was reading the magasines there. I said I couldn't see anyone and she replied airily that this old lady had been dead for five years.
I thought that was remarkable. Assuming the afterlife is real, an old lady dies - has the chance to have the mysteries of the universe revealed but prefers to read Womans Own in the local CO-OP. Somehow I left the shop a skeptic.

I think they are mostly there for entertainment. Or they comfort the living idiots who think having a stranger pretend to be in touch with a loved one tell them all the pretty things they want to hear.
Also, I agree on the lack of proof. I was watching some Hauntings show on the Travel channel and I broke out laughing when a medium "got possessed." He didn't make sense and his accent didn't even change...it was sooo fake.

Your question really doesn't make since. If you think that mediums are nutty, than why are you a P.I.? P.I.'s are supposed to keep an open mind and not be judgmental. That being said, I am a medium. I am quite sane, and it's not a load of bull.

yes, with a Ouija board. It's amazing how they answer back, you can ask who you are talking to and you can ask them anything. I've talked to a person of my past befor and I asked her a bunch of questions...which she answered truthfully, just like as if she was talking to me in person. It's a great experiance. It's even more fun when you have a ton of people trying it, and you find out your talking to a dead relative of your friend. It get's veru interesting, but it's one of those things you can either take seriously when it's you and another person, or use it as a game when there is a ton of people.

I'm also a paranormal investigator, and a skeptic, and I haven't found any proof yet either. BUT, absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't ever happen.

Only in my mind. The dead can't communicate with us. Your "vision" was just a dream, a manifestation of your desire to speak with your loved one.

No, I've found that acknowledging their existence by talking to them just encourages them to hang around. I don't need some dead person yapping at me all day long.

1st. NEVER play with the OUIJA, cuz usually ,there are very vvverrry bad spirits who try to contact with you but using the identity of the person you are looking for and
2nd. that`s the reason why mediums that can`t speak with dead, cuz they know if they try it, may be the soul of a demon is wating 1st to make contact with every human that could see them.
the best thing u can do is
pray to God and
pray to God and
pray to God
