I'm a major fan of horror movies, and I loved "The Blair Witch Project". It was the only horror movie to ever make me nervous since I was a little kid. The people that didn't like it just thought so because it never shows what they're running from, which is what makes it so great. It forces you to use your imagination. Those people can have their "Saw" and "Hostel" movies (which aren't scary). Blair Witch is a great horror film...but for the record, the 2nd movie sucks big time.

depends what you would be scared of.
i found it very spooky, and it gets scary towards the end.
if you want to understand it, listen carefully to what the people in the village say, and mostly an old lady with a wooden log, she tells about the legend of the witch.
i was watching the move home alone after 11 pm and to be honest, i was freaking towards the end.
some parts are really slow, but if you imagine that this happens to you, would not want to be there.
i'm starting to get chills down my back now

I'm a wuss when it comes to horror films so put off watching this film for ages. When I got round to watching it , I couldn't believe how CR*P it was. It's neither scary or a particularly good film. At the end you just want them all to die and the film to hurry up and finish. The film was all hype, watch something else.

It's a little scary. You won't go in the woods at night for awhile after you watch it. I think the 2nd one is better than the first.

the blair witch project. not scary at all. the hype was people thinking that it was real which made it scary if they thought it was real. I thought it was a bit boring really.

I thought it was alright. It was more of the what you couldnt see than what you could... but it was real life like and It was scary to me... The only thing was it made me kind of dizzy because they were walking around with the camera.

If you don't have high expectations (and it sounds like you might), try it out. It's better than a lot of horror movies I've seen. It's about on par with The Ring to me.

No, I was really disappointed when I went to see it, it was so hyped up. It's not scary, it's meant to be psychologically scary, it makes you imagine what could be there but you never see anything.

It was scary the first time you seen it, but when you found out it was fake, it wasn't scary anymore
