You can't find it on MapQuest simply because it IS "the road less traveled." If it was on a map, everyone would know about it and it would no longer be "the road less traveled," it would be "the road most traveled."

You go down by the old country store then you make a left at the store, You go about a mile and a half then turn right on a old dirt road, then you follow that to the end and make a left and your on the road less traveled just watch out for fallen trees.

The Road Less Traveled is the title of a Robt. Frost poem. It's also the title of numerous books on travel to little known destinations and some on spiritual discussions. It is not a specific road or route.

When the super-highways began to make lazy, secondary roads obsolete, the 'old' routes became 'the road less traveled. They are usually the more scenic routes to get from Point A to Point B, but not the most expeditious. Consequently, you need to make the choice of simply 'getting there' or lazily 'working your way there'. Time is the element of the mix you need to consider in your decision...

It's the road that leads to Hotel California.
But be careful if you go there - you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!
