As art is subjective, it stands to reason that the answer to this question is subjective as well. Personally, I like the art of Escher as it is, as far as I know, an original style in a field that reeks of plagiarism or homages 9depending on your viewpoint). I like it because it is interesting and amusing and whimsical. I like it because it is unexpected and odd.

Personally, I like Escher's ability and creativity to fool the human eye with his illusions. He knows how to create ambiguous perspectives and images that transform as the viewers moves their eyes across the picture.

Agreed. It is a great place. I'm not a Greek, but I must admit everyone has definitely contributed in some way to this world as it now stands and Greece has definitely done her part.
