my daughter had the same problem. We tried every formula and the only formula that worked was Similac Alimentum. It is hypoallergnic and easy for babies to digest.

It is expensive, but worth every penny since it is the only thing that helped my daughter. Good luck...I hope this will work for him. I know how frustrating this can be!

It sounds to me like he has acid reflux. That is where the flap at the top of the esophagus doesn't close right. You can take your baby to the hospital if your doctor won't do anything. My son had acid reflux and was diagnosed at 6 weeks. He had the same signs as you are describing. If there is a children's hosptial near you take your son there. There is a test they can do. My son was put on medication, he outgrew it at 6 months. Here are some things that you can do to help.....Wait at least 30 minutes before laying him down after eating. Put 1 teaspoon of rice cereal in his formula to help it stay down. Don't burp him as soon as he is done. Wait for at least 5 minutes, make sure he is upright during that time. Raise the head of his bed to a slight incline.( That helps keep the stomach acid down)
Good luck. I hope that it is nothing more serious than the reflux.
----OH!!! if they do put him on medicne have them flavor it. Chocolate works the best.

He may have reflux......and the stomach acids are burning his esophagus. You can go to the doctor and they will test for this and give you medication if that is what it is.
There is an old method that grandmothers would have used in the day and thats to put a teaspoon of rice cereal in the formula to make it heavier in the stomach so it doesnt come back up as easily.
But in all honesty.....if you think there is something wrong with your baby, take him to the Doctor.........moron or not.

he could very possibly be allergic to cows milk. my son is and he was the same way as a baby. we had to put him on soy formula. now keep in mind though that soy can constipate a baby. we really liked the nestle good start soy. it worked wonders for my son. as far as the gas goes give him gas drops and warm baths. for the spitting up you can try inclining him when he sleeps. however if all of this doesn't work. i don't know what else to suggest.
oh make sure he burps with every bottle. it will cut down on some of the spitting up. good luck.

well you do need to take him to a doctor. If his doc is a "moran" then take him to a doc out of town. There really is no excuse when it comes to the health of your child. With that said, my son did the same thing, and we found out that he had acid reflux and the acid was burning him. He had to be put on medication for it and now he's doing much better. So you do need a doc after all if that's the case.

He may have acid reflux. And how can there not be any other doctor you can see, there's got to be more than one pediatrician where you live.
This guy above me says he's a doctor, but he can't spell so I wouldn't put too much credit into what he's saying.

My daughter was the exact same way and she had a barium test done. They found out she had acid reflux. You might want to ask the doctor about having one done.
