People I work with had a party over the weekend. The party was at a guy's house. He's single and 29. One of the women at the party (age 23) brought a friend. The guy hit it off with the friend and she ended up spending the night.

During the party, supposedly he asked if she was still in school or if she worked. She said she was in school and worked. He asked what year she was, she said junior. He asked where she worked, she said Rutgers.

He drove her home the next morning, got her phone number and kissed her goodbye.

Her mother got his license plate and called the police. Turns out she was 16 and a junior in HIGH SCHOOL. From what I hear, she looked, behaved and dressed much older.

I found out this morning that he could be going away for a while AND if convicted must register as a sex offender.

I'd just like to get your thoughts on this one. And in addition to your feelings on him, do you think the girl who brought the 16 year old should face any charges?

she definitely misled him. it's really messed up. these girls should be punished. they are not necessarily the innocents in these situations. they lie & make decisions on their own to lure & have sex with older men. & maybe if her mother would have paid more attention before the incident, instead of afterwards. the situation could have been avoided. these are not 10-13 yr old girls. @ 16 i knew right from wrong, and i knew not to pull crap like that too. my father would have had my *** & i would have deserved it.

I think the worker that brought the 16 year old should be the one pressed with charges, not the guy who had the party. The 16 year old should also face charges, and learn to be a lot more responsible...

Lol at Lord DarkGoth's story..:)

I think it is very much the girls fault for bringing her, and the little 16 year old for lying to the 29 year old. Unfortunately the law sees it different. It is sad for him, but now a day, if you have any doubt about age, maybe men should ask to see a drivers license. I wish your coworker the best of luck through this. And I hope this little girl learns her lesson about lying!!!

the girls who brought her there should be under arrest too. i think that this is bull.
plus not for nothing but didn't mother think that its her daughters fault to begin with.
she should have thought her daughter to keep her legs closed. and keep her home if she knows that she is sexually active.
i understand that she didn't look her age but her friend who brought her there should have let everybody know that she is underage.
at least that's how our parties used to work.
sorry to hear about ur friend but he should talk to the girl who brought her there and get some answers from her.
next time keep her out of the parties. if that the way she is let her party with high school not college. i dont think u will miss her too much.
most likely ur friend will be in trouble because of this. sorry but that the way the law is.

good luck.

Good Morning Food Dude! Good to see ya!
Wow what a story! The girl who brought her and the 16 yr old should both be in trouble for deception! And mom should not only keep better tabs on the 16 yr old, but realize what her daughter is up to!

Sucks to be him. What "friend" would bring a 16 year old to a party and leave her. What parent would let there child hanh out with a 23. So many messed up things in this. He is screwed. She was screwed. The family is upset. The friend should be upset.

So much crap

Yes, I do think the person who brought the girl should face charges, and so should that little hussy for lying about who she was. I'm sure that guy wouldn't have looked twice at her if he knew she was only 16. See, this really pisses me off. Every aspect of a case should be looked at so that innnocent people aren't persecuted.

Of course, though, if he knew her age then he ought to be sent to prison.

It's a pretty sad world out there. Many 16 year olds do look a lot older than their years. I believe she was be deceitful to that fellow and needs to explain herself.
It's sad, but maybe guys need to do an ID check on possible acquaintances.

the girl should not have been brought to the party (age wise)

she should not have spent the night

your co-worker seems pretty darn innocent to me and shouldn't face charges

the worker that brought the girl should have made everyone aware of the visitor's age

that's all i'm gonna say. have a nice day :). i hope it works out.
