Absolutely 10000% YES!!!!! I have had 3 children and breastfed all of them. What happens is when the baby sucks on the nipple, it causes the uterus to contract which releases little pulses of Oxytocin into the bloodstream. It is like a natural euphoric drug. It is saying to your wife's body that she doesn't need sex because that need is being fulfilled by the baby. I believe that it was intended to be that way so that the Mother will naturally bond with the baby. I know it is difficult. my husband nearly DIED!! It will be a sacrifice, but if you care about your wife and baby, then you will just need to go without or find some other outlet for a while. The benefits of breastfeeding so much outweigh the negatives. It will eventually come back (although probably not to the level it was before the baby, and this is totally normal.) I am sorry to hear about the situation, but hang in there.

It's quite funny to read all the answers, I think it's part of the personality of the woman and how and where they are been raised as well.
Because I use to think that if I helped my woman out in the house after my day work... I would get more. Not really true... I pick up the kids from school, cook, wash the kids, put them in bed, clean the kitchen and the bathroom and give my woman a massage and still I won't get any.... the amount is 1 time a week if I am lucky.
But I do not consider it as negative nor do I complain.... I love her.

I most certainly do, once the end of the day comes I am pooped out. For me its not the drive I just sometimes do not have the energy to perform like I would want to. I have tried to get a little more organized which helps and also I have come to realize that men do not care as long as their needs are fulfilled meaning basically my husband does not care if the house is dirty if I am screwing his brains out LOL.

yes for me my husband is out to sea working the oil rigs for months at a time so i have 4 kids , work full time, do all yard work , keep up home , cook, run arrends i do it all and after 2 or 3 months non stop when he gets home i feel like i can relaxe a bit but exhuastion kicks in and im totaly worn out then i get accused of cheating or messing around when i am just tired he dosnt understand but yeah i would rather rest and catch up on some sleep than have sex i takes energy i just dont have..

YES. And I feel even less like having sex after doing all this while watching my husband set on his butt playing his guitar or playing games on the computer. I have a 2 year old and I babysit 4 year old twins. Between my husband and I we have 5 other children. No help is no turn on!

For me, it doesn't affect my sex drive at all. Maybe it would be better if it did! I still want it 3 or 4 times a day.

ill tell u the same thing i told the others.......in my house i do it ALL when i say ALL i do mean all .....i cook, clean,inside and out of the house my man works 16 hour days when he gets home food is cooked and waiting, his bath is waiting, i serve his plate and ill wash him if thats what he wants and yes i will lay down and in joy sex with him i dont do any thing cuz i hav 2 i do it cuz i love my man and i feel thats the way i should show it .. he works 2 provide 4 me and he deserves 2 come home and sit on his as* and 2 b treated like the king of his home and he will b till the day i die i will ALL WAYS do 4 him.........bcuz i love him not bcuz i hav 2

Absolutely! I am just so exhausted. And sometimes I feel like sex is another job. But then sometimes I really want it so I try to take advantage when I am feeling really good.

I used to feel this way, until we found some new interesting things to try.
If something excites you enough, you will want the sex even if you are tired...trust me.
try new things, toys, movies, or new places...you will want it as much as him.
