Well Kobe's attorneys basically had the victim convicted so all Vick needs to do is convince some idiot jury that the dogs actually consented to having their throats be ripped open and being electrocuted with an old lamp cord.

It's apples and oranges.
The public will probably, by and large, pardon Vick after enough time has passed. But we are dealing with two different crimes, yes?
Of course, what Kobe did, if he was indeed guilty, was unacceptible and evil.
But when we consider some of the facts about the cases, what Vick did was worse in some ways, given that these creatures were at the mercy of the men who slayed them.
Usually, the nature of the public is that it forgets about how much it initially loathes the "mighty" whom have fallen.

They didn't forgive Kobe either! Besides, there is a slight chance that Kobe was innocent, even though he paid the girl off. There is no chance Vick is innocent! Then there is the fact that Kobe is a good player and Vick isn't.

The biggest difference is, Kobe was not found guilty by a court of law. I believe Vick will be, and I think that will make a big difference in the mind of the public.

Kobe was accused of ONE crime against ONE person. If he did in fact rape this girl, then that was very wrong. However, the girl should take responsibility for SOME of what she says happened to her. She CHOSE to go to his hotel room. Why did she think she was invited, to watch SESAME STREET?
What Michael Vick has done was against NUMEROUS (probably in the 1000's) dogs who did NOT have a choice in whether or not they participated in the bloodsport of dogfighting. These dogs were tortured for their entire lives, even BEFORE they were forced to fight. They were starved, beaten, drugged and abused from birth. Michael Vick is not guilty of a one time act, he has been doing this since 2001, according to the indictment.
Why do you care so much more for forgiveness for Michael Vick and his cruelty than you care about the suffering and murder of so many innocent defenseless dogs?
Michael Vick can rot in jail. I hope he does. He deserves to suffer. Check the picture out in the link below

Totally different cases.....Kobe just @ss-banged a slut who wanted money, while Vick tortured and murdered animals. Kobe was found not guilty, Vick wont be so lucky. I stopped watching basketball because of idiots like Kobe, Artest, etc. I wont stop watching football because they are cleaning house and getting rid of the gangstas and thugs.

Kobe admitted to having sex(adultery is really only a MORAL crime) FROM THE START. He SAID it was consensual. She CLAIMED it wasn't. She DROPPED THE CASE because she didn't want to testify in a CRIMINAL CASE, BUT filed a CIVIL CASE like the same day. So everyone saw it as she wanted money and he probably did have CONSENSUAL SEX.
Vick has DENIED from day one that he knew about it. He has blamed it on his family. The EVIDENCE shows that he knew. The Humane Society has been after him for YEARS but couldn't find the dogs. Had he ADMITTED he went to the dog fights he may have even got a little more leeway from people. To deny ANY KNOWLEDGE from the start and then have the proof you KNEW start showing up, yeah he is screwed.
Kobe committed a MORAL CRIME that is between Him and his Wife ON EARTH(Between him and God that he broke one of the Commandments if you believe in God) whereas Vick broke a LAW, and is accussed of committing a FELONY.

Two things.
1. Kobe was not found guilty. Vick likely will be. If not, then you might have a good argument!
2. Everyone has not forgiven Kobe. I, for one, still think the is am adulterous prick.
